2023 Summer Dance Camp Counselors
We're excited to spend Summer Dance Camp with you again!

MacKenzie Aurin
MacKenzie Aurin is 18 years old and is a rising sophomore at East Tennessee State University where she is majoring in Elementary Education. She danced with ORCBA for 12 seasons. Some of her favorite parts in ORCBA productions have been Snow Crystal and Harlequin Doll in The Nutcracker and Gold Fairy in Sleeping Beauty. This year’s camp will be her 14th camp and 5th as a counselor. She is so excited for this year and can’t wait to meet all the campers! ​
Josie Braun
Josie Braun enjoys dancing and engineering. She is 17 years old and next year she will be a senior at Farragut High School. She takes ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theatre at A Dancers Place. She has danced for 12 years and she has been dancing with ORCBA for 9 years. She loves being in The Nutcracker and her favorite parts she’s had at ORCBA is the seahorse, knitting women, fairy of serenity, card 5 in 2,5,7, and Arabian. She is super excited to work with campers this year. She has loved being a counselor and cannot wait to be one again!
Addie Cordray
Addie Cordray has been dancing with ORCBA for 9 years and has been attending Summer Dance Camp even longer, first as a camper and then as a counselor for the last few years. Addie dances at A Dancer's Place in Knoxville and has enjoyed so many roles with ORCBA, including this season where she performed as Clara in The Nutcracker and as Sebastian the Crab and Belle in A Fairy Tale to Fairy Tale. Summer Dance Camp is always her favorite week of the year and she can't wait to work with all the campers again this summer.​​
Malachi Dawn
​Hey everyone! My name is Malachi and I have been attending ORCBA camp since I was 8 and have participated in 3 productions of ORCBAs Nutcracker. I have danced with Creative Edge Dance Studio for almost 7 years. I take jazz and ballet classes there and look forward to years to come with dancing! I am so excited to be a counselor this year at ORCBAs dance camp this year and look forward to getting to meet this year's batch of kiddos!
Addison Doss
Addison Doss is fourteen years old and in ninth grade. She has been dancing for nine years. At her studio, A Dancer’s Place, she enjoys dancing the styles of jazz, tap, and ballet. This summer she is attending her own studios intensive as well as counseling at ORCBA’s summer dance camp. She has been in many productions with ORCBA and enjoys every second of it. Her favorite roles include petite mirliton from the nutcracker, fairy of musicality from sleeping beauty, and flounder and the frog princess from a fairy tale to fairy tale. This is Addison’s first year being a counselor and she is so excited to teach the campers!
Lily Egner
​Lily Egner is a rising 9th grader and has been taking dance classes at Tennessee Conservatory of Fine Arts for 10 years. She takes ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. She has been dancing with ORCBA for 7 years and has enjoyed many roles, especially Petite Mirliton in The Nutcracker and The Snowman in The Snowman and Friends. Lily is excited to participate in Summer Dance Camp for the first time as a counselor.
Adalyn Garland
Adalyn Garland is a rising freshman and takes dance classes at A Dancer’s Place. This is her 4th year dancing with ORCBA. Some of her favorite roles from their productions have been Jamie from The Snowman and Friends, and from this year’s spring production, The Frog Princess and Flounder from Fairy Tale to Fairy Tale. This is her 2nd year as a counselor and she is so excited to help and teach campers, it’s her favorite part of June! 
Lila Kelly
 Lila Kelly is 13 years old and has danced for almost 10 years! She enjoys dancing the styles of jazz, ballet, and tap at A Dancers Place under the instruction of Jan Valenti, Drey Herron, Kellie May, and Amy Covell. In addition to being a camp counselor at ORCBA, she plans to attend a two week summer dance intensive at Van Metre school of dance this summer. She has been in five of ORCBA’s productions including Sleeping Beauty, Alice In Wonderland, and this springs Fairy Tale to Fairy Tale. Some of her favorite roles include a Bluebird and Sneezy the Dwarf in Fairy Tale to Fairy Tale. She has attended ORCBA’s summer dance camp for two summers, and she just can’t wait to be a counselor this year!!!
Lily McDonnell
Lily McDonnell is 16 and a rising junior at Farragut High School. She has been dancing for 15 years, 4 of which with ORCBA. Some of her favorite roles with the company have been Alice in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and the Lilac Fairy and Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty. This will be her third year as a counselor and she is very excited to see the campers again. Dance camp is always her favorite part of the summer!
Liddell Morgan
Liddell Morgan is a rising eighth grade student and dances at A Dancer's Place in Knoxville. She started dancing at age three and has been dancing with ORCBA since Spring of 2018. 
Some of her favorite roles include Spanish Rose in The Nutcracker, Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and Daughter of Triton in this year’s production of Fairy Tale to Fairy Tale. She’s excited to join other ADP dancers as an ORCBA camp counselor to invest in younger dancers and share her joy and passion about dance.
Katelyn Puhr
My name is Katelyn, I’m 14 years old and I’ve been dancing in the Nutcracker and spring shows with ORCBA since 2018. Some of my favorite roles have been a Petal in Nutcracker and, recently, a Chef in The Little Mermaid. I’ve danced at the Dance Centre of Oak Ridge for 5 years, and before that I danced in Indiana since I was 3. My favorite styles are tap, lyrical, and contemporary. I’m excited to be a counselor at Dance Camp this summer!
Bethany Quillen
Bethany has been a counselor for the ORCBA dance camp for 3 years. She is a member of the Dance Centre of Oak Ridge competition team and the East Tennessee State University dance team. She will be attending ETSU to major in psychology and minor in dance. ​
Monica White
Monica White is 15 years old, a rising junior, and has been apart of orcba for 10 years. She dances at the Dance Centre of Oak Ridge, also performing on the competition team. She has been through many Nutcrackers and spring show productions. Her favorite overall role was when she was a chef in The Little Mermaid with one of her closest friends. She has always loved how welcoming, friendly, and hardworking everyone is at ORCBA and has made many lifelong friends!  Summer dance camp has always been something she has looked forward to, and she loves being a counselor and getting to know the kids. This is her third year being a counselor and she can’t wait to meet new campers.
Henry Williams
Henry Williams is excited to return for his second year as a counselor at ORCBA Summer Dance Camp! Henry is a student at A Dancer’s Place in Knoxville where he studies ballet, jazz, and musical theater under the direction of Jan Valenti, Drey Herron, and Kellie May.  Henry has performed in five productions with ORCBA.  His favorite roles include Fritz, Russian, and the Nutcracker Prince in The Nutcracker, and Prince Eric and the Frog Prince in Fairy Tale to Fairy Tale.  Henry is looking forward to spending three weeks in July at Nashville Ballet’s Summer Intensive on a full tuition scholarship.  Henry loves ORCBA Dance Camp and it is always his favorite part of the summer!
