Murillo Barbosa

Lucien, "Paquita"

Born in Goiânia, Brazil and moving to the U.S at a young age, Murillo Barbosa trained many years in musical theatre before he started dance. In search for more dance training for musical theatre, Murillo started dancing at a small Christian studio in Cartersville Georgia, Steps of Faith dance studio, where he fell in love with the art form.
Murillo then went on and received most of his ballet training from the school of The Georgia Ballet. Receiving the upmost training from Orlando Molina, Daet Rodriguez, Margit Peguero and Ashleyanne Hensley. 
Murillo has also received training from The Milwaukee Ballet and Oklahoma City Ballet. 
He has had the opportunity to dance in many ballets such as Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Raymonda, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, La Fille mal Gardee and Paquita. 
In the 2016-17 season he danced as a student trainee/ pre-professional student with The Georgia Ballet. He is now currently dancing professionally in the company with The Georgia Ballet.
