2021 Summer Dance Camp Counselors
We're excited to spend Summer Dance Camp with you again!
MacKenzie is 16 years old and will be a senior at Oak Ridge High School in the fall. She has been dancing for 14 years and has been with ORCBA for 11 seasons. This year’s camp will be her 11th Summer Dance Camp. Some of her favorite roles in ORCBA productions have been Tweedle Dee in “Alice in Wonderland" and the “Cowgirl Snowman” in “Snowman and Friends”. She is so excited to meet all of the campers and cannot wait for camp!
Josie Braun enjoys dancing, playing clarinet and Girl Scouts . She is 15 years old and next year she will be in 10th grade at Farragut High School. She takes ballet, jazz, and hip hop at Angela Floyd school of dance, she has danced for 10 years and she has been dancing with ORCBA for 7 years. She loves being in The Nutcracker and her favorite part she’s had at ORCBA is either card number 5 in Alice in Wonderland or a dancing fruit in The Snowman. She is super excited to work with campers this year. She has loved being a counselor and cannot wait to be one again!
Hannah Campbell is a rising 10th grader at Christian Academy of Knoxville and has been dancing with Tennessee Conservatory of Fine Arts for 12 years and ORCBA for 4 years. Her favorite roles include Blue Jay in Peter and the Wolf and the March Hare in Alice in Wonderland. This will be Hannah's first year to be a counselor at ORCBA's Summer Dance Camp and she is very excited.
Elaina Conger is fifteen and a rising sophomore at Farragut High School. She has been dancing for as long as she can remember, and she’s enjoyed performing in nine shows with ORCBA. Her favorite roles include the Petite Mirliton in The Nutcracker and Tweedle Dee in Alice in Wonderland. When Elaina isn’t dancing, you can find her playing French Horn, writing novels, and marching with the mellophone section of the Farragut Admirals Band. This is her second year as a Summer Dance Camp counselor, and she’s excited to be back!
Addie Cordray is 13 years old and a rising 8th grader. She has been dancing with ORCBA for 8 years and has performed many different roles in The Nutcracker and Spring productions. Her favorite roles have been Petite Mirliton in The Nutcracker and Jamie in Snowman and Friends this past December. She is excited to be performing in Paquita and as The Dormouse in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland this April. Addie has been attending Summer Dance Camp for 10 years and is looking forward to her first year as a counselor. Dance Camp is always a super fun week for everyone and she can't wait to be a part of it again this year.
Elaina Cordray is 15 years old and a rising sophomore in high school. She has been dancing at TCFA and with ORCBA for 8 years. She has performed many roles with ORCBA, some of her favorites being Clara and Snow Crystal in The Nutcracker, the Ice Princess in Snowman and Friends, as well her part in the Corps of Swan Lake. She is looking forward to our upcoming production where she will perform as a member of the corps in Paquita and Alice in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Elaina has been participating in Summer Dance Camp for 10 years, as a camper and then as a counselor. She is excited to be back at camp this year as it is always one of the most fun weeks of the year.
Lydia Croley is 17 years old and is a rising 12th grader at Webb School of Knoxville. Lydia has been formally training in ballet for 14 years and has been dancing with ORCBA for 7 years. She’s had the honor of dancing at several prestigious intensives including American Ballet Theatre in New York City and Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in Connecticut. Lydia has enjoyed her time dancing with ORCBA. She can’t wait to perform the role of the Caterpillar and Paquita in ORCBA’s production of "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland" and "Paquita" Excerpts. Lydia has a strong passion for ballet and can’t wait to share her experience and love of dance with the campers.
Lily Egner is a rising 9th grader and has been taking dance classes at Tennessee Conservatory of Fine Arts for 10 years. She takes ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. She has been dancing with ORCBA for 7 years and has enjoyed many roles, especially Petite Mirliton in The Nutcracker and The Snowman in The Snowman and Friends. Lily is excited to participate in Summer Dance Camp for the first time as a counselor.
Hey I’m Zoe! I’m 16 and I’ll be a junior at Farragut High School this coming fall. I’ve been dancing forever but this is my first year with ORCBA and I am loving it. I can’t wait for this summer!
Lily is 15 and a rising sophomore at Farragut High School and is so excited for Summer Dance Camp! She has been with ORCBA for three years and this will be her second year as a counselor. Last camp was her favorite week of the summer and she can’t wait for this one!
Allison Myers is a Oak Ridge High School rising Senior. Her first ever performance was in the ORCBA show the nutcracker and she has done it ever since. Allison enjoys hip-hop, jazz, ballet, musical theater, lyrical, tap, and is on the senior competition team. She is so excited for this summer’s dance camp!
Caroline is 17 and will be a senior in the fall. She has been dancing with Orcba for 10 years. Dance camp has always been her favorite and she is super excited for this years!
Hi my name is Sarah Peplow I am fifteen and a rising sophomore . I have been dancing with ORCBA for 9 years. I am very excited to be a camp counselor this year.
Bethany Quillen is 17 and will be a senior at Powell High School in the fall. She has been dancing for 15 years and has been with ORCBA for 5 years. She is currently playing the role of the March Hare in ORCBA’S 2021 Spring Show, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. She has danced on a competition team 9 years and is currently dancing at the Dance Centre of Oak Ridge as well as on the Powell High School Dance Team.
Leah Shaw is a rising freshman in college at Western Kentucky University and has been dancing with The Dance Centre and ORCBA for nearly 6 years. Her favorite roles with ORCBA include Clara and Ice Crystal from the Nutcracker, Red Riding Hood from Into the Woods, and the Duck in Peter and the Wolf. Leah has been a counselor at ORCBA’s Summer Dance Camp for three years and she is very excited for another great year!
I am 13-year-old Monica White, and I am so excited to be a counselor at ORCBA summer camp this year. I was disappointed last year to miss this opportunity due to Covid but so excited to be with my ORCBA friends once again! I have been dancing since I was 3 and I am beginning my 9th season with ORCBA. I also assist with preschool, primary classes, and the mini competition team at the Dance Centre. I have enjoyed all my seasons dancing with ORCBA and look forward to being with all the campers this year!
